About the Cherry Creek Education Association

The Cherry Creek Education Association (CCEA) advocates for high-quality education for all Cherry Creek students. We strive to create the exceptional learning environments our students deserve. Our mission is to ensure that educators are both respected and valued, recognizing their vital role in shaping our future.
As a local of the Colorado Education Association and a proud affiliate of the National Education Association, we are part of a larger network of educational professionals devoted to advancing public education and supporting the rights and development of educators across the country.

OUR MISSION AND ADVOCACY

CCEA unites members around shared priorities to drive positive change within our schools and communities, ensuring both educators and students have the resources needed to thrive. We develop and lead campaigns to influence decision-makers at every level on crucial issues, including funding, evaluations, student resources, supportive discipline practices, and more. Through comprehensive training, support, and resources, we empower our members to advocate effectively and bring about meaningful improvements in education.

CCEA proudly represents all teachers and Specialized Services Providers (SSPs), within the Cherry Creek Our members are committed educators working to provide an outstanding education for every student. CCEA strives to create and uphold a professional, supportive environment for all Cherry Creek educators, recognizing their essential contributions to student success and the community.

COLLECTIVE BARGAINING

CCEA has a dedicated team of trained member negotiators, supported by professional staff, who represent Cherry Creek educators in annual negotiations with the district. Together, we advocate for fair compensation, comprehensive benefits, and improved working conditions. CCEA ensures that the voices of our teachers and SSPs are heard and reflected in policies that support our members and enhance the educational environment.
